What are the limitations of waterjet cutting of composites?
Despite its many advantages, waterjet cutting can be limited for:
- materials with multiple layers of different hardness
- very soft and very hard layers in a single part
- elements with complex, non-flat geometry
- It can also cause moisture or fiber damage in some composites
